From training advice & plans, to nutrition, injury prevention and medical advice they are here to help you. Meet them below and find out their top three tips for getting you through.
Nick Anderson - Coach
The official coach for Brighton Marathon Weekend is Nick Anderson of Running With Us. Nick is one of Europe's most highly respected coaches and will be helping you to reach your marathon goal.
Nick has over 25 years running experience, is a graduate in Science & Management of Health & Fitness, a UKA level 4 endurance coach, a qualified nutritionist and sports therapy practitioner. Nick is currently an England Athletics flying coach & manages GB squads for at events such as the World Half Marathon Championships.
Dawn Buoy - Physio
Dawn Buoy of Body Rehab Studios and her team are the official physiotherapy and massage partner for Brighton Marathon Weekend. Dawn qualified as a physiotherapist from Kings College London in 2000 and is a member of the specialist physiotherapy group, MACP and is an APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) master trainer. She will be offering her top tips about stretching and looking after your muscles and joints to ensure you run safely and sensibly.
Nick Morgan - Nutritionist
Our official nutritionist is Nick Morgan from A Word On Nutrition has been with the event since the beginning. He is currently the Performance Nutritionist with Hull FC and Newcastle Falcons, as well as Head of Sport Science at the Soto Tennis Academy. He and his team will be offering ideas for healthy eating plans and advising you on what foods are best (and worst!) for running.
Dr Rob Galloway - Medical Director
Dr Rob Galloway is an A&E Consultant and has been the Medical Director for Brighton Marathon Weekend for the past four years. His meticulous planning and highly experienced team of professionals ensure a safe event for all involved. Read his medical advice for all runners taking part here.
