There are some exciting changes this year, with Race Pack Collection and the Brighton Marathon Weekend Exhibition relocating to a brand new venue. The Exhibition will now be a part of the Brighton Marathon Weekend Event Village.
The Event Village will be open for the whole of the event weekend, from Friday 7th - Sunday 9th April, with the Exhibition taking place on the Friday and Saturday.
Here we welcome you to the 2017 Brighton Marathon Weekend. Thousands of runners and supporters will arrive at the Event Village on Friday and Saturday, ready to kick-start their weekend together in a hive of anticipation and excitement.
Situated adjacent to the finish line, the Event Village is located right on Brighton beach. You can see maps for the Event Village HERE
On Race Day (Sunday 9th April) participants will be able to reunite with loved ones in the Reunion Area in the Event Village. With A-Z lettered flags, this is the best place to arrange to meet friends and family after the event. Make sure you agree a letter with them to meet at before you start the race.
2XU Recovery Zone
Our partner 2XU will be hosting a special Recovery Zone in the Event Village, which will be open all weekend. After collecting their Race Pack on Friday or Saturday, runners can visit our training experts for a pep talk and a range of seminars, get a preparatory sports massage from Body Rehab Studios, chat to the RunBrighton.com Pace Team, check out the course and pick up helpful information and advice. On Race Day, post-race massages will be available also and our team will still be here to offer their support. More info will be available on the website nearer the time.
If you are running for a charity or have joined a charity team, some will be setting up camp in our Charity Village within the Event Village. Here your charity will welcome you to their own unique tent, to give you the congratulations and pat on the back you deserve. You may also benefit from their on-site massage, refreshments and food. This is their chance to say thank you to you for all of your hard work!
