A good place to search for and book your hotel is Visit Brighton, where you will find a variety of different options and hotel listings in and around the city. You can search for and book accommodation directly via their dedicated Brighton Marathon Weekend portal.
NB. If finding central accommodation proves to be tricky as hotels fill up, do be sure to search further afield in towns close by, such as Lewes, Worthing, Shoreham and even Gatwick for accommodation that is easily commutable by train, taxi or bus.
PACKAGE OFFER WITH ZIP TRAVEL
We have an excellent package offer in place with Zip Travel, offering accommodation, race day transfers and more from Gatwick and the surrounding area.
These can be a cheaper option to hotels while still providing home comforts. They may even come with parking!
An affordable option for accommodation is to camp at a nearby campsite. This is becoming more common at marathons around the world and is a fun way to bring all the family for less. Please see a list of campsites in the area as recommended by Brighton & Hove City Council.
The closest sites to the marathon start are at East Brighton Park and Bevendean Farm. At Bevendean you can even book a bell tent for the weekend or even a motel package with extra luxuries via PopUp Campsites.
Please note that the event will not be providing transport from these sites to the marathon.
