The Brighton Marathon 2012 – A record year!
Just two Brighton Marathons behind us and the Olympic year now upon us - these are exciting times for running in the oh-so-energised city of Brighton & Hove and in the UK generally. This year will be quite some year! The 2012 edition of the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 15th April will be significantly bigger than either of the two previous editions.
We have now accepted 18,000 entries, which is a 20% increase on the numbers for Brighton Marathon 2011. This puts the Brighton Marathon into the top 12 running events across the UK. Something we are very proud of after just two years and we are one of just six races to have been awarded an IAAF Road Race Label of any colour.
